Westminster Abbey
Westminster Abbey and the Monarchy
Westminster Abbey is a Gothic church of central importance to the British monarchy: coronations have been held here for centuries, and many notable figures are buried or commemorated here. Architectural highlights include the nave and the Henry VII Chapel. The Abbey is also an active place of worship, so visits are not always possible.
