Trafalgar Square
Trafalgar Square in the heart of London
Trafalgar Square is a central public square in London’s West End. Nelson’s Column and its fountains define the scene, while the National Gallery stands on the northern side. The square connects Whitehall, Leicester Square and Covent Garden, making it a useful landmark for a walking tour.
Together with Piccadilly Circus, it makes for a stroll through the West End. Art lovers will find the National Gallery right on the square.
